Kane achieves his century goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has declared that his enthusiasm in going back to the Premier League has diminished and he is open to explore a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is at the moment halfway through the four-year agreement he agreed to when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the transfer window of 2023.
The 32-year-old forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German side, helping them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which was the first significant honor of his distinguished career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has earlier mentioned that he would welcome to see Kane come back to England, where he needs 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England skipper has now suggested that he is no longer as keen about coming back home as he earlier was, and would certainly think about extending his stay in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could certainly see that," he stated.
"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be willing to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so unfolds and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different opportunities and different periods happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the record top marksman for both Tottenham and England and lately became the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five competitions, securing the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had eluded him until he lifted the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would react after ending his trophy barren spell, but now thinks it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
